Who doesn’t love the neutral and laid back vibe of a beach house. I recently gave you a tour of ours over on insta and I wanted to share some of my favorite pieces we used in our home to create that coastal look! One of my fav places to shop down on 30A is Beau Home interiors. We used their sofas in the Crytpon Fabric to create a really lovely linen feeling in the living room but with the durability you need for kids!! I also picked up these chairs at World Market for a steal to finish out our play room!! There are also so many fun and affordable pieces you can really finish a room up in available at Target and Home Goods!! No need to break the bank!
A Few Key Items!
- A Jute or Sisal Rug really anchors a room in a timeless and very beachy way.
- White furniture is a must. Find fabrics like Crypton + Sunbrella to go the long haul!
- Use Natural Elements like woven baskets in light colors and avoid anything too literal (like signs that say BEACH!)
- Books are your best friend when decorating and there are so many pertaining to the seaside that really bring a look all together.
