It’s COLD y’all. Like real real cold. I don’t know about you but winter really does a number on my skin and anything I can buy to keep in my car, handbag, vanity, bedside to lessen the effects of the cold I am all about. Dry skin, cracked feet. All the gross things no one wants to talk about I want to discuss. I have a few staples in my arsenal that really help me fight the winter skin blues and I would LOVE to share them with you today.

  1. BABY FEET. Some things even a pedicure can’t solve and your feet need exfoliation. That’s why I LOVE a foot peel for my feet. Yes, this is a real thing. Yes, it’s kind of gross. But y’all, does it work!! And it will leave your feet feeling like a babies, helping you shed the dead skinned reveal what is new and soft and fabulous underneath. And I do it twice a year AND so does my husband! Not kidding. It’s so simple, just follow the directions on the back of the box. One expert tip, soak your feet before you begin and find a cozy spot. You can’t really move around for an hour or so. So I like to put on Netflix and chill and let this chemical peel for your feet do it’s magic!
  2. MOISTURIZE YOUR FACE. This is a no brainer. I use two different moisturizers. I have oily skin so I use this Epionce daily, twice a day. It does a great job at giving my face just the right amount of moisture without making my face feel greasy. If I want something heavier at night I use the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream. It goes on like a dream and is a great night cream. They are both a bit pricey but they last forever and y’all… it’s your face. You only get one. Take care of it.
  3. Don’t forget your Lips. I love this Laneige for day and night. It’s a nighttime sleep mask, but I use it every day and on my kids too. The jar really goes a long way. These little tubes from BUTTER are also great for giving you a pop of color and a lot of moisture!
  4. HANDS. I don’t like a cream that won’t absorb into my skin and I don’t like the smell of perfume. That’s why this Lavendar cream from Thistle Farms smells like HEAVEN and is light enough to use for every day. Plus, they are an amazing company helping women get back on their feet after going through a rough time.
  5. HAIR. I have tried so many shampoos and conditioners though the years. The conditioner I keep going back to for my color treated dry tangles is THIS from Biologe. Their smoothing conditioner is superior to every other fancy brand I have tried that is 10x the price. I promise you will love it over and over again.

XO

Brandon
